"Thank you for teaching us things we will really use in our lifetime. You kept it real with us and showed me how it's be growing up but you also gave us skills to use in life. You made us socialize in class and showed us careers to look into. Thank you for everything!"

First Tuesday at Fish City Grill Waxahachie

Join us anytime between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. on May 7 at Fish City Grill in Waxahachie for great food and conversation. FCG is graciously donating 15 percent of the day's sales to Impact Communities!

Funds raised through the Fish City Grill First Tuesday event will go toward programs that teach students the value of prevention by learning life skills, setting goals, developing a strong belief in themselves, and navigating the land mines of their teenage years. At the same time, Impact works with parents, guardians, and grandparents so they understand how to support and encourage the young people in their lives.

“We’re looking forward to a fun day of food and conversation at Fish City Grill,” says Reanna Liversage, Impact’s director of community coalitions. “Our goal is not only to raise much-needed funds for our programs, but also to talk with community members about how they can make a difference in their communities.”

“Mother Teresa said, ‘I alone can’t change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples,’” Liversage continues. “I firmly believe that, like Mother Teresa, we can come together to cast stones across the waters of our communities, creating many ripples to achieve long-lasting change.”
