Impact Communities' Board of Directors strives to reflect each community served through this body of dedicated individuals. As volunteers, this group represents a broad range of experience and professions. In addition to holding fiscal oversight for the agency, it is responsible for setting policy and vision for the organization. The Board meets every other month and includes committees for financial oversight, governance, programs, and fundraising.
The Board is supported by a diverse Advisory Council focusing on prevention, treatment, and addiction recovery. This group of experts meets biannually and advises the board while supporting the organization's work.

Beckys Why: "I love this work because it allows me to help others! As a person in long-term recovery from addiction, I am passionate about preventing youth, families and communities from the negative impact of drug use."
Becky Vance has served as the CEO of Drug Prevention Resources(DPR) for four years. Before joining DPR, she was with the Partnership for Drug-Free Kids, a national non-profit focused on prevention. As a person in long-term recovery, Becky is passionate about prevention and recovery and helping youth stay in school and succeed in life.
Becky received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston and an MBA from LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas. She loves to travel to white sandy beaches. Becky also enjoys volunteering through her church to help the homeless. She is married, and has two 2 fur-kids, Jazzy and Jaxson.

Lucias Why: Her motivation is to be that mom that contributes in building a healthier foundation as her son escalates into a teenager, years-to-come.
Lucia De La Rosa is the Program Director of Youth Prevention Programs at Drug Prevention Resources.
Lucia has a Master of Business Administration but at the of 19 her first non-profit career circled around drug prevention for teenagers and self-motivation workshops for the Latina women in West Dallas. Since then, a passion was developed to provide as much education to not just teenagers but also parents, guardians, or grandparents who touch the lives of a child daily.
Passionate about volunteering anywhere and mentoring teenagers.
In her personal time, Lucia enjoys visiting nearby small cities for relaxation and pleasure.

Chantales "Why": Her interest for non profit brought her to DPR. She loves being part of a team that dedicate its time to bring growth and healthy environment to our kids.
Chantale Blais is the Accounts Payable Coordinator at Impact Communities.
Chantale has a Bachelor in Business Administration and has worked for different non-profits organizations in the past. Her professional experience focuses on organizing activities, managing budgets, financial needs, handling money, and working with partners of all backgrounds.
She also spent the last 14 years volunteering and working with students at school, church, or in the community.
She enjoys volunteering, watching tv, and spending time with her family. You would probably find her at a pool watching one of her kids’ swim meet.

Kaci's "Why:"
“I want to live a life of service and make a difference in my community.”
Kaci has a degree in Psychology and has worked in child abuse and neglect prevention, mental health and job training for opportunity youth. Her primary goal in her position is to make a positive impact in her community by bringing people together to create change and educate our youth about addiction.
Kaci is passionate about helping others to better their lives and developing meaningful relationships.
In her free time, she loves to take her daughters to new places and seeing them experience something new. She also loves to cuddle on the couch with her husband and girls and watch cooking shows.
